Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair public infrastructure including parks, streets, and facilities
- Operate heavy machinery and specialized equipment safely
- Perform routine inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal projects
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Respond to emergency public service requests as needed
- Document work activities and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid California Class C driver's license
- Minimum 2 years of relevant maintenance or construction experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
