Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds including landscaping, irrigation, and facility upkeep
- Operate equipment like mowers, trimmers, and hand tools safely
- Assist with event setup/breakdown for festivals and sports activities
- Enforce safety protocols in recreational areas and playgrounds
- Perform light repairs on benches, fences, and park amenities
- Interact positively with park visitors and provide information
- Support seasonal programs like youth sports and summer camps
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather
- Basic knowledge of landscaping/maintenance tools preferred
- Strong teamwork and customer service skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to obtain CPR certification (training provided)
