Responsibilities
- Maintain athletic fields, park grounds, and landscaping areas to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and tractors.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of restrooms, pavilions, and recreational facilities.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of special events, festivals, and community programs.
- Collect and empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal.
- Monitor park areas for safety hazards and enforce park rules and regulations.
- Interact professionally with the public, answering questions and providing assistance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class C Arizona Driver's License.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping principles, pest control, or irrigation systems is a plus.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
