Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of signature recreational programs serving 50,000+ annual participants
- Manage $500K+ operational budgets for high-traffic parks and facilities
- Supervise cross-functional teams of 15+ staff and volunteers during major events
- Develop ADA-compliant accessibility initiatives for inclusive recreation access
- Oversee capital improvement projects including trail systems and sports complexes
- Forge strategic partnerships with tourism boards and corporate sponsors
- Conduct data-driven program evaluation and ROI analysis for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years progressive experience in municipal parks leadership
- Certified Parks and Recreation Professional (CPRP) designation
- Proven success in securing grants and managing public funding ($250K+)
- Advanced knowledge of Colorado recreation regulations and safety protocols
- Expertise in digital program registration systems and CRM platforms
- Valid Colorado Class R driver's license with clean record
