Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of public facilities, parks, and roadways
- Operate heavy equipment (mowers, trucks, etc.) safely and efficiently
- Respond to emergency public service requests within 24 hours
- Conduct infrastructure inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on city improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety protocols
- Assist in disaster recovery and weather emergency operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years equipment operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
- Tulsa residency required within 90 days of hire
