Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of public facilities, parks, and streets
- Operate and maintain municipal equipment (trucks, machinery, etc.)
- Respond to emergency situations and natural disasters
- Conduct safety inspections and report hazards
- Collaborate with other city departments on infrastructure projects
- Assist with community events and public service initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Class C driver's license
- Ability to obtain Class B license within 6 months
- Experience in public works or maintenance preferred
- Physical ability to perform manual labor in varied conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
