Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery (street sweepers, snowplows, etc.)
- Perform routine park maintenance and litter removal
- Assist with road repairs and pothole filling
- Manage waste collection and recycling operations
- Respond to emergency weather events (snow, flooding)
- Conduct infrastructure inspections and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Driver's License with clean record
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Experience operating heavy machinery
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer proficiency
