Responsibilities
- Manage incoming communications and prioritize emergency/non-emergency requests during night shift operations
- Process and document critical administrative records with strict compliance to municipal regulations
- Coordinate with on-call city officials and emergency response teams during off-hours incidents
- Maintain secure digital and physical documentation systems with zero-tolerance policy for breaches
- Support cross-departmental projects requiring night shift coverage and data analysis
- Conduct routine system checks and troubleshooting for city databases and communication platforms
- Prepare comprehensive shift transition reports for day-shift counterparts
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Public Administration preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in government or municipal administrative roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government-specific record-keeping software
- Valid Minnesota driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance (including background check)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills during high-pressure nighttime scenarios
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for inter-departmental coordination
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays as needed
