Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility regulations during overnight shifts
- Conduct regular security rounds and headcounts to maintain order
- Respond to emergencies, disturbances, and medical incidents with swift action
- Maintain accurate logs and incident reports for all shift activities
- Screen visitors and incoming packages to prevent contraband introduction
- Operate security systems including surveillance equipment and control panels

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- TTCJ (Texas Training and Certification for Jail) certification required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
