Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain federal IT systems and networks during the night shift to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Respond to and resolve technical incidents and service requests promptly via the ticketing system.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, security protocols (NIST, FISMA), and internal policies.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and maintenance tasks.
- Document all system changes, incident reports, and daily logs accurately.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless transition of operations and knowledge transfer.
- Conduct basic security scans and vulnerability assessments.
Qualifications
- US Citizenship is required for all federal contract positions.
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience working in night shift environments (minimum 1 year).
- Familiarity with federal IT standards, security clearance processes, and government contracting requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a 24/7 operation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
