Responsibilities
- Monitor federal network systems and servers 24/7 to ensure maximum uptime and security.
- Execute critical software updates, patches, and maintenance tasks during low-traffic hours.
- Respond to and resolve technical escalations for federal employees in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to comply with federal standards.
- Document system performance, incidents, and resolutions in compliance with IT governance policies.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent military experience).
- Proven experience working successfully in a night shift or rotating shift environment.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, hardware troubleshooting, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
