Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access points to federal facilities to ensure only authorized personnel enter.
- Patrol assigned areas during night hours to deter and detect security breaches.
- Respond immediately to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations following established protocols.
- Conduct regular security inspections of equipment and perimeter fencing.
- Maintain accurate logs and incident reports regarding all security activities and observations.
- Assist in the orientation of new personnel and visitors to the facility.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold or be eligible for a suitable Federal background clearance.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the shift schedule.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Excellent observation skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
