Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols of government buildings, parking lots, and perimeters to ensure a secure environment.
- Monitor and control access points, verifying credentials and authorizing entry for authorized personnel and visitors.
- Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies promptly, following established protocols.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily activities.
- Inspect physical security systems, including cameras and sensors, reporting any malfunctions.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services during critical incidents.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred.
- Ability to work full-time, night shift hours (10:00 PM β 6:00 AM).
- Valid Florida Driverβs License with a clean driving record.
- Pass a comprehensive background check, drug screen, and medical examination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
