Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of federal facilities, interior spaces, and grounds to ensure the safety and security of personnel and assets.
- Monitor security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control terminals, to detect and respond to suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Enforce strict access control policies, verifying credentials and authorizing entry for authorized personnel only.
- Respond immediately to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, following established protocols to mitigate risks.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and log entries regarding observations, incidents, and irregularities for legal and administrative review.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and situational awareness at all times, adhering to government security regulations and agency policies.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess or be eligible for a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
- Minimum of 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record required.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military, or government contracting preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
