Responsibilities
- Monitor & Maintain: Oversee critical federal network infrastructure and systems during night operations to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Security Operations: Conduct vulnerability assessments, patch management, and incident response to protect sensitive data.
- Tier 3 Support: Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues for internal federal stakeholders.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of system configurations, outages, and remediation efforts.
- Compliance: Assist in internal and external audits to ensure adherence to DoD and federal IT standards.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with day-shift teams to hand over critical status reports.
Qualifications
- Clearance: Active Top Secret or Secret security clearance is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering.
- Shift: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and cybersecurity protocols (NIST).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and documentation.
