Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain server infrastructure, databases, and network systems during night operations to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Respond to and resolve technical support tickets and system alerts in a timely manner.
- Perform regular system backups, security patches, and software updates.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to document issues and ensure seamless handovers.
- Analyze system performance logs to identify potential downtime or security vulnerabilities.
- Ensure strict compliance with state cybersecurity and data privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience working in a 24/7 support or night shift environment.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and SQL.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues.
- Ability to pass a background check and security clearance for government work.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting technical status to stakeholders.
