We are looking for a dedicated Night Shift IT Specialist to join the State of Colorado's critical 24/7 Operations Center. Responsibilities
- Monitor server health, network traffic, and system alerts 24/7.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, patch management, and backups during off-peak hours.
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for internal state employees.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and maintenance activities in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with Day Shift teams to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
- Enforce security protocols to protect sensitive state data.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent technical certification (A+, Network+, Security+).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Must have previous experience working the Night Shift or rotating shifts.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to obtain a State of Colorado Background Check.
