Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 and 3 technical support for hardware, software, and network infrastructure issues.
- Monitor and manage the Help Desk ticketing system during the evening shift to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and security updates on scheduled night cycles.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of end-user devices, including laptops and printers.
- Ensure data center and server room operations comply with all government security protocols.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to transfer critical issues and maintain documentation.
- Provide on-site support for government facilities operating 24/7.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or a related technical role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a rotational basis.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain Public Trust clearance.
