Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the integrity of local and network infrastructure during night shifts.
- Respond to and resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support tickets, including hardware and software issues.
- Perform routine security audits and patch management for government servers.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of workstations and peripherals for incoming staff.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and incident reports in the Service Desk system.
- Collaborate with day-shift management to ensure continuity of operations and seamless handovers.
- Enforce strict physical and digital security protocols in compliance with government standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions during night shifts.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and obtain a government security clearance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and written communication abilities.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
