Responsibilities
- Manage 911 emergency calls during overnight shifts with precision and composure
- Coordinate multi-agency responses for police, fire, and EMS incidents
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications using CAD/RMS systems
- Provide critical information to first responders during active incidents
- Operate radio, telephone, and digital communication equipment
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive information
- Participate in continuous training for emergency procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 1 year dispatch/emergency communications experience
- National Emergency Number Association (NENA) certification
- Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) certification
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
- Proficiency in CAD/RMS systems and multitasking under pressure
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Pass extensive background check and drug screening
