Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with precision and empathy
- Dispatch police units using CAD/RMS systems during emergencies
- Maintain accurate radio communications with field personnel
- Enter and update critical incident data in real-time
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during complex incidents
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support
- Operate emergency notification systems for public alerts
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Typing minimum 40 WPM with 90% accuracy
- Pass criminal background and drug screening
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
- Strong multi-tasking and stress management skills
- Basic computer proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Experience in customer service or call centers preferred
