Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city facilities and infrastructure during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts with immediate action
- Conduct regular safety inspections of transportation hubs and public works sites
- Document incidents, security breaches, and maintenance issues in official reports
- Coordinate with emergency services and city departments during critical situations
- Enforce city ordinances and safety protocols in assigned zones
- Maintain accurate logs of all activities and observations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 1 year security or public safety experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills for reporting and incident documentation
- Basic knowledge of emergency response protocols
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
