Responsibilities
- Answer emergency/non-emergency calls and prioritize incidents using established protocols
- Operate radio systems to coordinate police, fire, and EMS responses
- Enter and maintain accurate records in CAD/RMS systems
- Provide pre-arrival medical instructions via EMD protocols
- Maintain situational awareness during critical incidents
- Collaborate with multi-agency responders during emergencies
- Complete all mandated training modules within 6 months
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 90% accuracy
- US citizenship and valid Arizona driver's license
- No felony convictions or misdemeanor domestic violence charges
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and learning new software systems
- Clear speaking voice and multilingual skills (Spanish preferred)
