Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city areas during overnight hours to deter crime and ensure public safety
- Respond promptly to emergency calls, accidents, and security incidents
- Document incidents with detailed reports and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with other emergency services during critical situations
- Monitor surveillance systems and address security vulnerabilities
- Provide assistance to citizens in need during overnight hours
- Participate in regular safety drills and protocol reviews
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic certification in CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
- Strong communication skills and crisis management abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Previous security or public safety experience highly valued
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
