Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city zones during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM) to deter crime and ensure public safety
- Respond promptly to emergency calls, including medical incidents, disturbances, and property crimes
- Conduct thorough investigations and prepare detailed incident reports for legal proceedings
- Collaborate with city agencies and community organizations to implement safety initiatives
- Operate specialized equipment including surveillance systems and emergency response vehicles
- Maintain accurate logs of all activities and submit daily operational reports
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship with valid Washington State driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in law enforcement, security, or related field
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and polygraph examination
- Current CPR/First Aid certification and firearms qualification
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to de-escalate tense situations
- Physical fitness requirement: ability to run 1.5 miles in under 12 minutes
