Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, baggage, and cargo using X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other security equipment
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and identify potential security threats
- Operate advanced imaging technology and explosive detection systems
- Enforce TSA security regulations and protocols with professionalism
- Assist passengers with security procedures while maintaining a courteous demeanor
- Document security incidents and suspicious activities accurately
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during security operations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or legal residency status
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new technologies
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Valid U.S. driver's license (preferred)
