Responsibilities
- Answer emergency and non-emergency calls with speed and accuracy
- Operate radio communication systems to coordinate emergency services
- Enter and update information in computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and incidents
- Provide clear instructions to callers during critical situations
- Collaborate with police, fire, and EMS personnel
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and department protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong multitasking and decision-making skills
- Clear communication (verbal/written) in English
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Valid driver's license
- U.S. citizenship or legal residency status
