Responsibilities
- Monitor city surveillance systems and respond to overnight incidents within 15 minutes
- Conduct foot patrols in high-priority areas including downtown, waterfront, and transit hubs
- Coordinate with emergency services during critical incidents using encrypted communication channels
- Maintain detailed incident reports and submit digital evidence within 2 hours of shift end
- Implement security protocols at municipal buildings and critical infrastructure sites
- Collaborate with federal partners on counter-terrorism initiatives during night operations
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts Class B Security License or equivalent government certification
- Minimum 2 years experience in law enforcement, military, or public safety
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure overnight environments
- Proficiency with CCTV monitoring systems and incident reporting software
- US citizenship and ability to obtain Secret Security clearance
- Strong knowledge of Boston's geography and emergency response protocols
- First Aid/CPR certification and de-escalation training
