Responsibilities
- Process emergency calls and prioritize dispatch resources for police, fire, and EMS units
- Utilize CAD systems and radio equipment to coordinate tactical operations

- Execute crisis intervention protocols for high-stress scenarios
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local agencies during major incidents
- Train on advanced mapping software and geographic information systems
- Conduct post-incident reporting and quality assurance reviews
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
- Minimum 60 WPM typing certification with 95% accuracy
- Valid Michigan driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and polygraph examination
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-aided dispatch systems
- Experience in customer service or high-volume call centers
- Completion of NENA or APCO dispatcher training within 6 months
- Fluency in English; bilingual candidates strongly encouraged
