We are looking for a professional who can maintain accuracy and confidentiality while managing high volumes of administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process incoming correspondence, mail, and electronic documents for the department.
- Input, update, and maintain accurate records in the city's centralized database systems.
- Perform data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
- Organize, file, and archive physical and digital files according to established protocols.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and summaries as requested by management.
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of sensitive government records.
- Operate office equipment including scanners, printers, and computers.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in administrative support, records management, or clerical work.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and holidays as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
- Experience with government filing systems is a plus.
