We are seeking a dedicated Night Shift Security Officer to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. As a key member of our government contract division, you will be responsible for safeguarding critical infrastructure and personnel during the overnight hours. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular security patrols of the facility and grounds to prevent unauthorized access and ensure safety.
- Monitor and operate CCTV surveillance systems and access control terminals.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.
- Verify the credentials of visitors and issue temporary access badges as required.
- Maintain accurate, detailed logs of daily activities and security incidents.
- Enforce company policies and government regulations regarding facility security.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Valid Security License (or ability to obtain within 90 days) is mandatory.
- Must be willing and able to work night shifts (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Pass a comprehensive background check for government clearance.
