Responsibilities
- Patrol and Monitoring: Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises, including buildings, grounds, and parking areas to deter and detect suspicious activity.
- Access Control: Verify credentials of individuals entering restricted federal facilities and maintain strict access logs.
- Incident Reporting: Immediately report any irregularities, safety hazards, or security breaches to the Site Supervisor or Law Enforcement.
- Crowd Control: Manage visitor traffic and maintain order during peak hours or emergency situations.
- Emergency Response: Respond effectively to alarms, fire, medical emergencies, or hostile intruder situations following established protocols.
- Documentation: Complete accurate and timely daily activity logs and incident reports using digital reporting tools.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess or be eligible for a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, walk, and run for extended periods; ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.
- Valid License: Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License.
- Background Check: Must pass a thorough background investigation and drug screening.
