Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas during overnight hours to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond promptly to security breaches or emergencies
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation of security operations
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents and emergency situations
- Conduct access control checks and verify credentials for personnel and visitors
- Operate emergency response equipment including radios and alarms
- Provide assistance to citizens and fellow officers during high-stress night shift scenarios
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during overnight hours
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Proficient in using surveillance systems and security technology
- Must pass background check, drug screening, and physical fitness assessment
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules
