Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure municipal facilities, parking areas, and perimeters during overnight shifts
- Conduct regular patrols and surveillance operations using advanced security systems
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations with appropriate protocols
- Enforce access control procedures and verify credentials for all personnel
- Document all security activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services during critical events
- Maintain communication protocols with dispatch and security command centers
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean record
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure
- Proficient in CCTV monitoring, alarm systems, and security software
- First Aid/CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass extensive background check and drug screening
- Fluency in English and Spanish preferred
