Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access points to government facilities to ensure only authorized personnel enter during night hours.
- Conduct routine patrols of the premises to deter criminal activity and ensure the safety of all assets and employees.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents while following established protocols.
- Complete detailed written reports regarding daily activities, observations, and any irregularities encountered.
- Assist in the maintenance of a secure and orderly environment for city operations, including parking facilities and grounds.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
- Must be able to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
