Responsibilities
- Maintain a high visibility presence on-site and conduct regular patrols of the facility and perimeter.
- Monitor and control access points to ensure only authorized personnel and visitors enter the premises.
- Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily activities and observations.
- Enforce all company policies, security protocols, and government regulations strictly.
- Assist with crowd control and traffic management during special events or peak hours.
- Conduct thorough bag checks and screening of all incoming personnel and packages.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or government facilities is highly preferred.
- Ability to work a rotating night shift schedule (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM or 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong observation skills with the ability to remain alert during long periods of inactivity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
