Responsibilities
- Patrol & Monitor: Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of the facility premises to ensure a secure environment for government personnel and assets.
- Access Control: Verify the identity of all personnel and visitors, managing badge issuance and maintaining accurate entry logs.
- System Surveillance: Monitor closed-circuit television (CCTV) and alarm systems, responding immediately to any irregularities or alerts.
- Emergency Response: Execute emergency protocols for fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches to minimize risk and ensure safety.
- Incident Reporting: Document all incidents, observations, and activities in detail using the appropriate security management software.
- Client Liaison: Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with government staff and visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid California Security Guard License (Guard Card).
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) including weekends and holidays.
- Experience: Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is highly preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Must be physically fit to perform patrolling duties, including walking and standing for extended periods.
