Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the government facility perimeter and internal secure areas.
- Monitor and operate CCTV surveillance systems and access control points 24/7.
- Enforce strict security protocols and respond immediately to alarms, breaches, or emergencies.
- Verify the identity of personnel and issue visitor passes in accordance with security regulations.
- Document all security incidents, irregularities, and maintenance issues in the shift log.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services during critical events.
- Ensure the facility remains secure, safe, and compliant with all government safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid SC (Secret) Security Clearance or willingness to undergo the vetting process.
- Previous experience in security, guarding, or a related field.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain alert during extended periods of inactivity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid UK driving license and a clean driving record.
