As a Night Shift Security Specialist, you'll safeguard high-priority facilities including emergency operations centers, data hubs, and public works sites. Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV systems and alarm systems for 12 assigned municipal facilities
- Conduct hourly perimeter security checks and access control enforcement
- Respond to emergency incidents including medical alerts and security breaches
- Maintain detailed incident logs and submit daily activity reports
- Coordinate with emergency services during critical incidents
- Operate biometric access systems and perimeter detection equipment
- Participate in quarterly security drills and emergency response simulations
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico Security Guard License (Type B)
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years security experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Clear criminal background check and drug screening required
- Proficient with surveillance technology and reporting software
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
