Responsibilities
- Patrol designated government facilities and high-security zones during overnight hours
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security breaches with urgency
- Enforce access control protocols and verify credentials for personnel/visitors
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed activity reports
- Coordinate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Conduct perimeter checks and maintain physical security barriers
- Operate advanced security equipment including CCTV and alarm systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- Valid Maryland Security Guard License (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight shifts
- Proficient in surveillance systems and security technology
- Must pass federal background check and drug screening
- First Aid/CPR certification required
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
