Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol designated municipal facilities during overnight hours
- Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergency situations with appropriate protocols
- Document all security activities and incident reports with precision and timeliness
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Conduct access control for authorized personnel and visitors
- Maintain security equipment and report maintenance needs
- Participate in mandatory security drills and training sessions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid Pennsylvania Security Guard License
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in surveillance technology and reporting systems
- Ability to pass federal background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
