Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol designated government facilities overnight
- Respond to security incidents with de-escalation and protocol adherence
- Conduct access control and ID verification for all visitors
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Operate emergency response equipment and communication systems
Qualifications
- Valid Nebraska Security Guard License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong conflict resolution and crisis management skills
- Proficiency in CCTV systems and radio communication
- Pass background check and drug screening
