Responsibilities
- Oversee Night Operations: Manage and direct all night shift activities to ensure seamless continuity of government services and public safety protocols.
- Crisis Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact during emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement, fire services, and emergency management teams.
- Shift Management: Schedule and supervise staff, ensuring adequate coverage, training, and performance monitoring during the night hours.
- Communication Hub: Monitor communication systems and logs to identify potential issues and dispatch resources immediately.
- Policy Enforcement: Ensure all team members adhere to city regulations, safety procedures, and operational standards.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed shift reports and incident logs for review by upper management during the day shift.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in emergency services, public safety, or operations management, preferably in a government setting.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the shift schedule.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead a team effectively, resolve conflicts, and maintain composure under pressure.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office and incident management software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions.
