Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor local and wide-area network infrastructure during the night shift.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for government employees and systems.
- Perform routine server maintenance, patching, and security updates.
- Respond to critical alerts and resolve outages to ensure 99.9% system uptime.
- Document technical procedures and maintain detailed incident reports.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems administration or network engineering.
- Proven ability to work independently during night shifts and holidays.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with government security compliance standards (e.g., FISMA).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
