Responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot critical state IT infrastructure systems during the night shift to ensure 24/7 operational continuity.
- Analyze nightly data logs and generate performance reports to support state-wide decision-making.
- Perform system backups, patch management, and security audits during low-traffic periods.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams via documentation and handover protocols to resolve escalated issues.
- Ensure strict compliance with state cybersecurity protocols and regulatory standards.
- Provide technical support to internal government agencies during off-hours.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or technical support.
- Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or scripting languages is highly preferred.
