Your Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot server infrastructure and network equipment during night shift operations.
- Perform routine system patches, updates, and security configurations to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Respond to and resolve critical system alerts and incidents with minimal downtime.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal security protocols, CUI, and ITIL best practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system changes, incidents, and maintenance logs.
- Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning to optimize system efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration within a federal or government-contracted environment.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security firewalls.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently during night shifts and communicate effectively during handovers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
