Responsibilities
- Monitor System Health: Continuously track server performance, database integrity, and network traffic during night shift operations.
- Troubleshoot Incidents: Resolve critical technical issues and escalate complex problems to the appropriate engineering teams promptly.
- Data Integrity: Perform automated data backups, integrity checks, and nightly reporting tasks to ensure data safety.
- Security Compliance: Adhere to state security protocols and conduct routine vulnerability scans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of system status, incidents, and resolutions for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT systems administration or technical support.
- Shift Availability: Must be available to work 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM (or similar night shift pattern).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Linux, Windows Server, SQL, and scripting languages (Python/Bash).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting status updates.
