Responsibilities
- Monitor traffic control systems and respond to incidents during night hours
- Conduct infrastructure inspections and maintenance coordination
- Coordinate with emergency services and law enforcement agencies
- Document activities and prepare detailed incident reports
- Ensure compliance with state/federal transportation regulations
- Operate specialized traffic control equipment and vehicles
- Assist in planning nighttime construction and maintenance projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid California Class C driver's license
- Ability to work flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays)
- Strong communication and crisis management skills
- Experience in traffic control or public safety preferred
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and technology systems
- Pass background check and physical fitness assessment
