Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including raking, sweeping, and cleaning streets and public areas.
- Assist in the repair and maintenance of roads, sidewalks, and public infrastructure.
- Operate light to medium heavy equipment (when trained) such as dump trucks, rollers, and mowers.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and supplies for construction projects.
- Ensure job sites are clean, safe, and free of debris.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls and assist senior crew members as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic control guidelines strictly.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver's License (preferred but not always required).
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and team communication skills.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
