Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on public infrastructure including roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate light machinery such as jackhammers, saws, and compactors under supervision
- Assist in park maintenance, landscaping, and green space development
- Support emergency response efforts during weather-related incidents
- Conduct site inspections and document maintenance activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines are met
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California Driver's License
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including early mornings/weekends
- Experience with hand/power tools preferred
- Ability to pass background check and physical fitness assessment
